Our Vision of Chicagoland’s most inspirational running event could not be a reality without our wonderful volunteers.
Our runners will participate in an incredible and professionally produced run/walk through the beautiful village and countryside of Barrington with every mile providing a new reason to remember the need to support and thank our troops. The run will touch the body, mind, and spirit (heart, mind, and soul) of participants and volunteers alike.
To touch the heart, mind and soul of participants and volunteers the appropriate pageantry will be built in to the Freedom Run from start to finish. A key part of this pageantry will be in the form of themed aid stations and mile markers.
9.11 Freedom Run Mile Themes
Each mile of the race will have signage and a group of volunteers reinforcing a key theme of of one of the nine core military service values as presented below:
